Day 047/365: The cuteness of my mornings

Day 047/365: The cuteness of my mornings

There are some days where the cuteness of my morning is supreme. Woke up on this morning to the sight of my two babies knocked the F out. I like this better than her running around the apartment causing chaos.

BTW, I’m trying to catch up with all my posts but that is proving to be a serious pain in my anus. I have been taking pictures though LOL

What am I doing?

Here I am, sitting on the bowl. The one place where thoughts run amuck. My stomach is a mess and my health? It’s not doing much better. For a bit, my acid reflux was totally getting better but sometimes it really gets me. Lately being a bit more frequent. Yet as much as I try to concern my thoughts on my well being I’m more or less thinking of other things. I just read an article about  conflict diamonds and how it is so in-humane at how people are getting treated. I totally agree that it is so bad at what is happening. Yet I have no idea what I can do about it. Meanwhile, another part of me is suffering with new allergies I never knew I had till I moved up here. Apparently, my sinuses don’t like it windy in the high desert. Too much new shit blowing around in the air fucking me up. At this moment, I can’t stop burping. Most likely due to the tomato sauce for dinner. Acid, acid reflux, I’m sure you get picture. Hence me sitting on the bowl right now. My mind still all over the place, looking for more articles to read finds one about Starbucks. It appears that they are going to start a storefront in Switzerland on their trains. Yeah, so during your commute to work you can be at Starbucks the whole time. Note my mind is totally screwed. Here I am, feeling sick from my nasal cavity to my stomach while people in Africa are suffering from conflict diamonds situations, and people are concerning themselves with getting coffee on a train. Why is my brain all over the place? Maybe the world is just wrong and I’m fine. Well maybe my mind, not my stomach.

Hanging out in San Diego – September 13 & 14, 2013

So there is one thing I’ve come to realize since I’ve moved out here. I’m never going to like a beach here it seems. I’ve been spoiled by my home of beaches. Nothing against the coastal beach parks crew and all but it’s just not that great to me.

I’m from Hawaii, where our sand isn’t dust. When Limu (seaweed) washes up on shore, it doesn’t smell so bad and infested with so many tiny bugs. I really didn’t know what to do.

However, here are some photos from San Diego.

Now, the rest of San Diego was nice. Went to Old Town San Diego which was like a little Mexico if that’s what it’s like. Everything had a real Mexican vibe about the place.

We ate at a place called Casa De Reyes and wow was it great. There was a 40 minute wait to get a table but that wasn’t really all that bad considering the restaurant was surrounded by shops. They had a stage where people were performing dances. By the time I had been through two stores and a bit of entertainment, it had already been time to get our table.

I had a great Cumin Rubbed Salmon with Mango. OMG TO DIE FOR!

Anyways, take a look at the rest of the set up top on the slideshow.

So I’m moving to California

Well it is official. I just the word that I’ll be moving Victorville California. I got a job there as an IT Manager and will be starting in February. This is seriously major and crazy all at the same time!! LOL Honestly I’m scared yet happy that I’m finally going to do this. I’ve thought about doing this so many times I don’t even know the number. All I know is that it is time for a change of pace. At least for a little while. I know for sure that I want to do this mostly because of my credit score. If it takes me leaving home to do this then so be it. I’ll be back eventually but in time I’ll try and enjoy the mainland for a bit.

Life will sure be different considering that I’m leaving my home of 29 years. It isn’t like I haven’t been there before, but that’s just vacation. This is permanent-ish. Not to worry though, at least I get vacation time right? I sure as hell hope so at least LOL. I will have a support crew out there as all us Hawaiians probably know someone out there living so at least I’ll be surround by friends. To myself, the many things that I will have is all of my memories to look back on. Thank goodness I took up photography as a hobby otherwise I wouldn’t of had anything to look back on. All my friends, family, life, locations, places I’ve been, etc… They have been documented for all the world to see and now for all my memory to look back at.

I started trying to make a set of photos on Flickr to house my Hawaii Memories but up to 13,000+ photos and my browser just crashes like crazy. However, so you all can see what fond memories we have made here is some of what I managed to get in there :-) (If you don’t see yourself, don’t think of it as bad but think of it as my browser failed LOL):

ALOHA!

Hmm it’s been a while community

So I haven’t written anything in a while to the community but I thought I’d drop and say wassup at about 11:42pm been working hard on my side jobs so I haven’t had the time to catch up with my NetLife :-( oh how I miss you all so much LOL anyways off to bed now.

Aloha

PS: Good luck with DST! HAHAHA SUCKERS!!!!

Maui Day 2 – September 01, 2011 – Maui Ocean Riders

This is the Day 2 video from our Maui vacation. In this installment of fun, we take a trip around Lana’i and do a lot of snorkeling. We did our cruise with Maui Ocean Riders. You should really check them out at their website http://mauioceanriders.com. The trip was fun, enjoyable and absolutely amazing.

Here’s the truth of it all right here. There are many snorkel trip you can take all over the islands, but what made Ocean Riders unique was the fact that it was 12 of us, plus Patty and Josh of Ocean Riders. With the other groups that we noticed there are as many as 30-100 people on those cruises. That many people on one boat? Not cool. This was a very personal, enjoyable, sensational, experience I have ever had.

Once again music credit goes out to http://FreeMusicPlay.com
