Video Editing

So recently I have found my self trying more and more to shoot some video. Yes, I love being a photographer, but I want to do more with videos as well. I just have one problem, damn do I hate editing. It takes so much more to do, either that or I’m just not sure yet what I want my videos to contain.

I have recently picked up a GoPro 960 (not the full HD on just yet) and I have to say, what it shoots is simply amazing for such a little thing. Putting something together? well that’s my challenge. I think it’s mostly because I don’t know how to use Sony Vegas hahaha.

Well here are some videos, I hope you like them.

Looking to do more here & The Last 2 Dramas @ Stage

So lately I been trying to think of something else for me to post up here rather than just party pics. Before I was talking about things that interest me, but I’m no news writer, I’m just a guy who is going to tell you my opinion. So now I’m thinking, “well what’s wrong with my opinion?” So I think I’m just going to try and write as much as I can here about stuff I’m doing or opinions I have. LOL I hope you all like it and can bare with me on it. I mean it is my blog right I should be able to do what ever I like right?

Anyways here the photos from the last Dramas @ Stage in the Design Center. As we say goodbye to summer we say goodbye to our summer party. However, don’t worry the Vertical Junkie crew got you covered with “FRIDAY NIGHT BACKYARD BBQ!” LoL I love the concept and here’s the flyer.

Well here’s the photos:

The 365days project

So… it has been a while since I thought about this particular project. I had to stop prematurely because of my cameras being stolen. Now however, I have this new Samsung Vibrant and the camera isn’t that bad I must say. So now I’m considering doing it all over again. Basically it’ll be, 365 Days Project pt. II LOL. Let me know what you guys think?

Oh boy is there a lot of catching up to do

First off, let me start by saying life is amazing seriously. The party scene is always the same but there is always something new to check out every time. Does that make sense? New people, situations, haters, and well just new stuff. While I try to understand the direction I’m still going in, I always find myself coming back to the same resolution; I love doing this. I love to capture people having a good time and talk to those who are in the shots. They love what I do and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Enough about all that sentimental stuff LETS GET TO THE PICS!

The Last Monkey Bar – May 22, 2010

Well it’s the last one for now I’m guessing LOL but hey thanks for the love! you all make it awesome

Special Shout out to Wong Fu Productions’ Philip and Wes for making it out to the party. It was great meeting such a great talent. Looking forward to the Funemployment web series. I know it’ll be great just like everything else you guys do!

A Game Controller? For Your Phone?! COOL!

Yeah if your reading the title and wondering, “wait wtf did he just say?” Well wonder no longer. This thing exists! Thanks to the folks over at Phandroid.com for providing this little device.

This is intended for Android phones, so I’m sorry all you iPhone people who love your phone. Maybe Steve Jobs should stop dissing on OpenSource then maybe someone might make you one. Anyways, personal grudges aside, this is a BlueTooth device that allows for a new gaming experience on your phone without having to use those annoying on screen buttons. Let’s face it, when your playing a game nothing beats the feeling of a controller in your hand. Which is why I think “Project Natal” is going to fail miserably.

The developers say that making this work with existing games should take no longer than an hour on the publisher’s side.

Hit the links and read up about it then hit me up with a comment on what you think about it.

Wow! Microsoft’s Concept Idea Courier

So, I’ve decided to do a little more than just post photo blogs here. Mostly because I been thinking that I would love to share my thoughts and ideas about stuff going on around the world. Well since I have a blog that people actually check out from time to time I’m going to start posting up some stuff that interests me! SO :-p

Anyways, I was going through my Google Reader today and I came across this article from engadget about a concept idea from Microsoft called the Courier. The idea is like having a little touch-screen “book” at about a netbook size. So no it won’t fit in your pocket (unless you rockin’ some old school Junco pants) and it’s not like an iPad. Both screens are touch screen giving you the freedom to do stuff on both sides. Now from the video that engadget has on their site, the concept looks to work well with people who are designers of all types. Of course this is just a concept and I’m sure it doesn’t stop there.

Now comes my opinion on the concept. Engadget did not touch on this part, but the Courier in the video was being used as a book, journal, address book, and a camera while staying in the book orientation. Well I think, what if you turn it and have one screen up and the other as a keyboard/touchpad/multi-touch surface for applications.

Anyways check out the post on their site here!
