The Ontario Reign are a much better team this year due to the league changes. Not that I’d know what’s what considering the only rule I know about hockey is, “if someone pisses you off, punch them in the face.” LOL

It’s funny when it rains because everyone up here is so surprised to see it. Considering it really never rains it is a nice surprise. Me being the island boy that I am is wishing it would rain more. That’s probably not good for this part of California LOL.

As much as this pulling of old stuff is a pain in the ass, and also necessary, it makes me wonder if the digital technology will ever be able to keep up with how well Analog worked. If something is wrong with digital audio, it’s a software issue and usually not that easy to fix. Analog is find the fucked up wire and fix it.

via IFTTT So when someone asks, “what’s the nerdiest thing you’ve done,” it’s really hard to pin down. Sunday was ok be of those days where I did something pretty nerdy but it’s fun none the less. Yes, this is a group shot from a wedding in a Visio game that I attended. The game is #FFXIV and yes you can marry another character if you want. A lot of couples who are either already married or just together love to get married in game. It’s cute. I’m counting this as a photo because it took a lot of effort to get this damn shot. It’s hard to get a #lalafell to take a damn picture. Also I’m the kitty girl way in the back jumping with hands in the air.

It’s a yearly event for off road racing. It’s already good fun. This year was a little restrictive on where I could go to take pictures but there was still a good bit of action I could see.

A lot of people think, “Oh that good because California is in a draught.” Well yes and no. My car is proof of that. It’s great that some areas are getting some much needed moisture, but what I am seeing is that this water doesn’t go anywhere useful. Unlike Hawaii, the water here goes down these aqua ducts/canals and is fed to homes from treatment facilities. All the water that doesn’t go to these ducts just run off to where ever it decides to flow to. In this case, a giant mud pit that I decided to drive my car through, twice. I got 4WD, why not LOL. We’ll see if all the rain helped any, but as far as I can tell, it hasn’t rained enough.
Hopefully soon I’ll take a drive out too Big Bear to see their snow fall. I think first though I’ll go to Mountain High. It’s a little easier to get to LOL.

I can’t wait for this project to be over. Ready to start the next project. LOL

Optimus Prime was there but that looks like a truck LOL. It was a fun work day out of the office and I got a few new ideas of things to enjoy around Hollywood.

Life is a fleeting gift. It’s here for but a short moment in time. This morning was a tragic reminder of that as one of my heroes is gone. When I woke this morning, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I unlocked my phone and started going through all of my normal social media sites to see what’s new with the world. I noticed that everyone was sharing his music and it was glorious. It was just this passed Friday that we were singing the praises of his 69th birthday and that he was still working as hard as ever by releasing a new album “Blackstar.” I thought to myself then that he is every bit of the legend that he has built himself to be. The Goblin King was still ruling in his kingdom of music. However, that joy came to an end when I finally saw another post, “RIP David Bowie.” I couldn’t believe what I read. I had to load up the news to see for myself. Sadly, it was true. Here he was working till the end to spread his visions of music to all of us through so many decades.
Like many around my age we knew very well of David Bowie as The Goblin King. David played this role with so much magic in his character that as a kid, even I wanted to be a Goblin King. How can the bad guy be such a loveable character? The answer is David Bowie.
Through the years (decades) David set the bar so high up when it came to challenging the norm in the music industry. Ziggy Stardust, Major Tom, Gray Clown, The Goblin King, Thin White Duke, the list goes on and on with the characters that he created to tell his story through the music.
He’s even been credited with challenging MTV in their early days asking why the channel was overly white. He even challenged sexuality. On top of all of that, he’s sung with so many greats. Freddie Mercury with Queen, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Lenny Kravitz, and Bing freaking Crosby!
It’s hard not to see that David Bowie had a strong influence on my life. It was ok to be different, so long as I owned it. So with that I have to say, thank you David Bowie. Thank you for being a force to be reckoned with. Goodbye.
Also, here’s a picture with David Bowie looking bad ass with some wolves from a few years ago.
