So I decided to play around with the video features a little bit more on my Canon 70D and well it works for me. The part that was tough is having a pretty loud Tamron (17-50mm f/2.8 VC) lens. I really like the clarity of the lens but having it the AF on is just too much noise even with the shotgun Rode mic I have. This isn’t to say that it isn’t possible though. The zoom could use a bit of a touch up as it isn’t as smooth as it used to be.

An interesting highlight coming from #FFXIV with the #CrowdControl crew. We had an epic RP session in game doing the “Ceremony of Eternal Bond” or better known as, getting married in game. LOL It’s actually really cool that they put this much thought into it. Good on Square-Enix for being so awesome about creating content like this. It’s not the first game that involved MMO Characters getting married but this is a very unique way to do it. Reasons why I like the Pebble brand of watch over all the other fancy Smart Watches is the fact that it’s a WATCH! What do watches do? They tell the time. Sorry, but I’m perfectly happy having a device last longer that an entire day than a device that becomes useless after half a day.
