It is impressive to see such massive clouds looming over the valley. Considering how high up and how big the clouds are they must be really dense. However, you look up and it’s blue skies right above us. You may be asking, “What valley?” That’s how big those clouds are. Where they are is where there should be mountains. It’s only been a few sprinkles so nothing to crazy yet as far as rain where I’m at. It’s just super COLD!
I am a Happy Camper right now. My Aunty Kathy sent me a care package full of awesome snacks that I am more than happy to consume in one day. I should probably savor it and make it last though. So I will.
Things were blowing every where today. Winds up to 30-40 MPH were just making the High Desert a really crappy place yesterday. On a lighter note, this marks a full month of photos for POTD! Still going and hopefully this time I finish out the whole 365! So only 334 more to go!
While down in San Diego we went to these tide pools and it was really cool and fucking cold! Lots of tiny little ecosystems in each little hole. This was a great little spot where the water was coming through nicely. I was really amazed by the amount of colors all over the rocks and walls. I suggest everyone go and hangout. It’s cool bro.
During my random walk around a town called Jamul close to the Mexican border I found this abandoned house on a hill. It looks so great with all the grass overgrown really.
So, Friday night I wake up from a nap and get asked, “You’re coming to with me to Mexico right?” Well of course I can’t go to Mexico because I don’t have my passport, but I had to go anyways. So I drove @partyallmyown to some town just before the border and then she went to Mexico while I hung out. Walked about 9 miles around the town and saw many beautiful houses there. Since I didn’t feel like driving back home after walking around so much I decided to use my one free night from Hotels.com and just grab a room at the Holiday Inn Express.
These are the first photos of my new camera, Panasonic Lumix LX7. I really like it but I’ll do a full review on it later.
