YO! So yes I know that it has been a while since I had posted anything up, but there is a reason why. I got a new JOB!!!
Yup thats right! I work at Heald College now. So if you go there, look for me in the IT Office in Room 307. I am now and IT Technician there working with a great staff and much better hours. To be honest, I was totally disappointed that I had to leave my position at the radio station, but this is now a new adventure for me.
Another development for me is that 808 Ghosts is on the AIR!!! Check out OC16TV.com to see when it will be on. We had a preview party at CW’s (Coconut Willies) in Waikiki. I actually had my camera there, but I was so excited that I didn’t even take any pictures, BUT! Kawehi Haug posted up a blog to Metromix about the party! YAY! So please! Check out the show and tell your friends. If people love it! We can have a month-to-month show on OC16!

I went there with SpeshylT to listen to a extremely talented artist playing there every Thursday. She was fuckin! AWESOME!! Girl can sing! Here are a few photos from The shack.
By the way this is the first time I had ever gone to The Shack in Waikiki, and It was great! The funny part is that there aren’t very many tourist there. It’s all local people!

Anyways lets move on to this past Thursday! October 16th! for Bamboo at King St. Cafe. DeeJay Betty was spinning it up on the ones and twos and Dani was there so I just had to come out and catch up. I been laying low for so long that it was time to get out again.
Sonny came by and was there texting… actually we were all texting betty from where we were sitting to have a lil bit of fun. i like to think of it as including her into the table without being at the table hehe.
Sonny ordered up a whole table full of food and omg… their food is the shit! the pulehu steak off the chain. the fried rice? off the motherfuckin’ chain! some skillet stir fry that was ono-licious! and the sashimi WINNER! and these weren’t like small portions these were huge portions! and of course off to the right you can see that i’m drinking a Heineken which meant one thing… tonight was a night to just say FUCK IT! wow i swore a lot sorry!
Oh and hows da sushi bar! now thats sweet lookin.

Alright and on to a movie review! haha ok ok i know i don’t normally do this. i usually do events and stuff but this was an event! I’ve seen less people show up to a huge summer blockbuster movie premier! This movie originally started out as two shows, a saturday show and a sunday show. that changed to two saturday shows and two sunday shows haha! both sold out! don’t believe me?! here is me standing in line.
there were 3 lines. the member and general lines went out past the street and down the road.
I convinced my mom to come. hehe
and gwynnelle came too! hehe
Sorry i know you can’t really tell in this picture but it was packed! i sat right in between my mom and gwynnelle and i must say this on public record here that they cried their eyes out during the movie! ok i will admit i got a little teary-eyed too but not as bad as them. it was like watching a river flow from them.
So all this talk and I haven’t even said what movie it was. Well that is because I was saving it for the review! hehe so here we go!
Hana Yori Dango: Final! The movie was the final installment to the extremely popular TV show title Hana Yori Dango. Hana Yori Dango stands for Boys Over Flowers. The story starts out about a high school student (played by Inoue Mau) Makino Tsukushi, attending a very expensive high class school. She is dirt poor and her parents have her attend the school as a way to show that they have money. She starts a war with a group of male students who call themselves Flower 4 or F4. The F4 leader (played by a group member of the popular boy band Arashi – Matsumoto Jun) Tsukasa Domyoji has an extremely bad temper and picks on students who seem to just be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Makino’s bad timing was to stick up for a friend who had a run in with Tsukasa. Makino stood up to the F4 leader and punched him in the face and knocking him to the floor. Tsukasa later realizes that he not only falls on the floor from the punch but falls head over heels in love with her. The show goes on for two seasons with the typical ups and downs of being poor and being rich. The song, “lifestyles of the rich and famous” started playing in the back of my head now.
The movie takes place a few years after the second season. Makino is close to graduating from college and Tsukasa tells the world that he is going to marry her. She is presented with a tiara that is presented to the woman who marries a member of the Domyoji family. The tiara is later stolen and Tsukasa and Makino set out on an adventure to get the tiara back. The adventure tests their love for each other.
The movie was a serious tear jerker i must admit. If you have not seen the TV show, I suggest you do so because nothing will make any sense to you at all. There were a lot of tie ins from the show but not as many flash backs as you would expect to see in the TV show for effect. In fact there was only like three flash backs haha. I was totally happy about that.
If you didn’t see it, you are going to have to wait till the DVD comes out. Sorry peoples.
